How long would you wait for your forever love?

Fall in love with the Fortunato Family of New York City. In this prequel to the Fortunato Family series and My Only One, a friends to lovers, romantic suspense, you’ll meet Esme and Shane and their families.

My Only One

My Only One, Book One of the Fortunato Family series, is a friends to lovers, romantic suspense that’s chock full of feels.

Esme:

We grew up in side-by-side New York City tenements. Shane was my first friend, my first crush, and when he enlisted, my unforgettable heartbreak. When fate brings us back together after ten years, I’m in a world of danger. But I’m not a kid anymore and I know what I want. Shane and I have a second chance at forever and there’s no way I’ll lose him again.

Shane:

Brilliant, beautiful, bound for success, Esme was the girl next door and a temptation I had to resist. I was too old for her, but I couldn’t forget her. When we meet again after ten long years, she’s caught in the crosshairs of a deadly drug kingpin. But I wear a badge now. Nothing will stop me from protecting the woman who claimed me—heart and soul—so long ago. I’ll keep Esme safe or die trying.

Time’s running out for Esme to pay her father’s debt to the cartel.

“With her gifts for writing crisp, realistic dialogue and building suspense that feels effortless, author O’Shay has knocked her first attempt at independent publishing out of the park. We can’t wait for the next edition of the Fortunato Family Series. Well done and congratulations.” Wild Women Reviews

“The chemistry between Shane and Esme was palpable. It took you on an adrenaline rush from the very first page until the end of the book. I actually had to force myself to put the book down because it kept me on edge and I had to see what would happen.
Shane was a protector and he came from a huge family. I loved the relationship he developed with his brothers and sisters, and the fact that they accepted Esme in their family. Childhood romances are always so sweet. It was nice when they finally admitted that they loved each other. I always think it’s sexy when a man will do anything to protect the woman he loves. Say You're Mine

Say You’re Mine, Book 2 in the Fortunato Family series, is a steamy, opposites attract romance set in NYC.

Did freakishly shy Skylar Bishop just kiss a random guy in a bar?

Skylar: I don’t know what came over me but when my boyfriend stood me up…again, and I saw this guy—the one with tormented eyes and a shiner on his sculpted cheekbone—mangle his words in a crowded bar, I couldn’t help myself. Now he figures I’ll tumble into his bed—because I kissed him without knowing his name.

But one kiss is all I’ll take because he’d never go the distance for a woman with my issues.

Women love Finnegan Fortunato’s body and he isn’t complaining.

Finn: Actions speak louder than words and I’ve learned to let my fists do my talking. Women want my tatted boxer’s body more than romantic words I can never give them and I like that just fine. But when a sleek uptown woman knocks me out with a fiery kiss, everything changes.

Now I have to find the words to make her mine.

When serendipity brings them together, will they fight for their forever?

REVIEWS

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Sky and Finn were both such dynamic, fascinating characters who stole the show from start to finish. It’s pleasantly surprising how much we uncovered in the depth of their backgrounds and growth as characters considering this is a fairly short read at just 184 pages. I even reminded myself to slow down with reading it a time or two because I simply didn’t want it to end. This is a case of two partners truly bringing out the best in each other, and you might need a kleenex over the delicate authenticity of their connection. There is some third act drama which was obviously necessary to disrupt, and then cement their relationship, but it still hurt to see how external forces could dismantle the self-confidence they’d just managed to find. When all was said and done though, you believe that these two have found their forever happily ever after.

REVIEWS

Wow, this story is a delectable treat. I gobbled it up faster than a luscious bakery cookie. From the setting to the characters to the romantic tension to the ballet performance, Snowfire deserves several rounds of applause. Charlotte O’Shay surpasses her previous books with this heartfelt, touching romance set in NYC.

Let’s start with the setting. I’ve never lived in NYC, but after reading this story, I’ve experienced all the joys of living there. Vivid narration paints an exquisite view of the city. The smells, the tastes, the sounds, the very essence of a small neighborhood is intricately described. There is a pretty tight cast of characters but that allows the reader to get to know everyone really well. Luca is an ex-con baker who’s taken over his family’s bakery. He’s full of contradictions and is truly a cinnamon roll hero.

Natalya is a shy ballerina who’s very lonely and trying to make a comeback on the stage after a devastating injury. Their meet cute is so adorable. I connected with both main characters right away. The romance is a bit of a slow-burn with extra heaping of emotions. While trying to convince themselves it’s not romance, they fall in love with each other.

Charlotte O’Shay builds the romantic tension up until it combusts into a night neither will forget. Steamy scenes that’ll heat you from the inside out, this romance will have you falling in love all over again. Charlotte O’Shay hasn’t written a book in quite awhile due to some family health issues. Ladies and gentlemen, she’s back and this is her best book ever written. Go out and buy this anthology so you can read Snowfire by Charlotte O’Shay. I strongly recommend this book! Disclaimer: I bought a copy. My Rating: 5++ stars. nnlightsbookheaven.com

This lovely, opposites attract Christmas story is just perfect for cozying up in front of a fire with while sipping hot chocolate and indulging yourself with a few homemade holiday cookies.

An accident has derailed ballet dancer Natalya’s life. She hasn’t been able to dance for some time and her ballet company has her on a wait-and-see employment schedule. But she’s feeling stronger and determined to get her old life back. Dance was her life. She’s itching to get an audition and show her company she’s back…even though still not medically cleared. Natalya has sacrificed a great deal for her passion.

Enter Luca Fiero, baker, hunk, and ex-con. When he spots Talya, and she is so hesitant to order something, he thinks it’s because she has no money and, on the spot, comes up with a fictional bakery cookie contest. She can have the two cookies of the day and choose her favorite. For free. Natalya is drawn to the dark, muscular, mysterious man in ways she’s never been to a guy before and before the week is out, Luca has made the cookie contest official just so she will stop by his bakery every night.

The two form a friendship they both want to explore as something more, but for reasons Luca will not tell her, they stay platonic. I hate spoilers so I won’t tell you what happens next, but just know this story warmed my heart because it proves love finds you no matter who or what you are, your present life or your past mistakes. It was meant that these two opposite in every way people get together, and O’Shay has done a perfect job of showing them just how they could be. 5 heartwarming Holiday stars from me. Peggy Jaeger
